The Wrinkle Salon is a series of rich and eye-opening conversations for people of all ages who are interested in exploring the impact of aging in today's youth-focused society. At The Wrinkle Salon, we’ll discuss the often dissonant relationship between our self-perception of age vs. society’s perception of aging. We'll ask what age is considered old and delve into research on ageism and its negative effects on people of all ages. We'll discuss the intersection between ageism, sexism, racism, and heterosexism, and also learn about how positive age beliefs can change the way we think about older people and the way we grow old.
